Day 2: Culinary experiences and relaxing time in the hammock
Today after a delicious breakfast we will have a cooking class of typical Costa Rican dishes, an experience that begins in the organic garden in the grounds of the Lodge where vegetables and legumes are grown with dedication and sense of permaculture. Today we will prepare a healthy lunch with fresh ingredients from our garden. Permaculture is a concept that aims at creating permanent cycles, sustainable and natural functioning. You will prepare exotic dishes like ceviche, chopped chayote and homemade pies. You may not be familiar with some of the exotic flavours, but happily surprised when tasting these dishes while enjoying breathtaking views of Juan Castro Blanco National Park and the valley of San Carlos.
